Sometimes you'd like to announce something in a nice and effective way. By using a newsticker, you could have lots of newsflashes in a spare amount of space. The following features are provided by the plugin so far:

• Switch newsticker on/off
  You could decide, wether the ticker is shown or hidden.
  
  
• Add a link (optional)
  You can add a link to every newsflash and decide if it should open in the same or in a new browser window.
  
  
• Integration of the article plugin
  You could integrate the headlines of the article plugin into the newsticker. In this case, the headline of an article becomes the newsflash and the headlines will be sorted into the newsticker according to their date. The link of the newsflash points to the article category automatically.
  
  
• Categorie-targetting
  You can decide, in which categories the newsticker should appear. This function comes in handy, if you do not place the ticker on a plugin psoition, but call it via

• Several design options
  Tickertext, date and the link of a newsflash (including the hover status) are driven via css definitions called from the database. You can also adjust the width and the height of the newsticker.
  
  
• Three different ticker modes
  Since version 1.0.0, three different ticker modes are available: flasher, scroller and typewriter.
