Description: This plugin will show the users country name and the country flag,
(it will find your real IP, (mostly) even if you are behind a proxy)
It uses the ip database from : http://www.maxmind.com/,
they claim 98% accuracy and their database is updated every month,
Database is downloaded directly from the site ,extracted and imported from inside the admin panel,
Additionally you can use this plugin to set access restriction on your site, so only users from specific countries will have access to your site.
furthermore you can activate HTML basic authentication for the users that are being denied access, so they can access only if they already have a username and password.
Updated (10/07/2007) - v1.1 :
+Added 2 types of Country stat.
simple : as before this will only show the visitor's country.
advanced : This will save and show statistics of all of your visitors' countries.
+changed the small flag iconset to www.ip2location.com
(missing icons from that database are replaced by flags from www.crwflags.com)
