Half-Life skin colours

I would like to change the skin gray colours by some others. I've found where to modify the background colour, but I'm not able to find where to change the rest.

In addition, if I change something in styles.css nothing seems to happen. :huh:

You have to make a few changes for this...

You will find some colour informations in the files:

- design1.php
- forumskin.php
- categories.php

&

- styles.css


A few colour you have to change in the images

- you need a image/photo editor

I have changed colour information in all those files and still nothing happens. The colours I've changed are #404040 and #4E4E4E. I can't understand it. :wacko:

I dont know ? what colour do you want to use for the background ?

categories.php has nothing to change. design1.php, forumskin.php and styles.css, substitutions I made:

#4E4E4E ---> #8E1910
#404040 ---> #5B140E

Why does that gray colour still remain? :(

Look at the images. You have to change the colour
at the image.

box_down, box_up,...

Open an image in a photo editor and you will see
the problem.

I don't know what to do now to turn red that (annoying) gray colour. I've already changed all the images and replaced every gray on the files named above. :blink:

Alright, the last thing you have to do is:

open design1.php

go to line 52, 99, 144 and change the last colour settings like this (#4C4D4D):

<td width="170" bgcolor="#4C4D4D">

to:

<td width="170" bgcolor="#5B140E">

If this is not working for you, check the other files for the colour "#4C4D4D".
