Robert - another CLASS skin for SD.
I'm currently using on a test site offline, and using SD 2.3 rc2.
When I add a new catgory that has a parent forum, the main site menu screws up.
Any easy fix to this? (apart from not using child categories!)
just to clarify - i've used 1.0.0 and 1.0.2 versions of shimmer and both have same problem.

Hmm, offline you say. Well, offline more often than not causes problems - however: please post a link to a screenshot or attach one.
It sounds to me though like there could be an issue with the category width - try adjusting the width until they all look right - but that's just a guess.

I've upgraded to the latest version of your skin, and tried amending the category widths, but still having problems. This time the menu just disappears when you have sub cats.
I skinned the VB forums and that didnt work well either.
The skin is fine with no sub categories, and no forum skinned though, as are all plugins etc.
I'm currently testing this to see if pro has any advantages over lite for the office - I cannot put the site online unfortunantly :(
Can this skin be used with lite if I go that way?
I attatch 3 images - 1 is NOT sub cats, 2 is with sub cats and 3 is the forum issue
thanks for your help in advance, and sorry i can't get this online for you to see :(

That's very a very odd issue. I have'nt had any issues with subcategories, very strange. The vb issue is perplexing.. the fix that was added earlier seemed to fix anyone's problems.
I'd need to see the example - and possibly look at the server's behaviour.
sorry.
I have'nt had a report of similiar behaviour, but if there is; I'll check it out.
Edit: Oh, and hmm.. yes I think it will work with light.

I'm also getting a problem, the top menu isn't attached to the whole thing when I view the forums.
Look here http://proctoglas.info, click forum.

Hi there, once in a while after a few skinnings, IPB *breaks. In your ipb admin cp, go to look and feel > default skin > and press revert all changes. Select the css, and board header and footer. Afterwards, reskin your forum, and you are set.

Thank you :D
It's all good now.
Edit: How do I fix the background on the forum? It's all white, wich isn't what I want, I want it to be like the subdreamer skin.

look in look and feel -> default skin -> edit stylesheet (advanced css mode)
find:
body {
background: #ffffff;
}
and get rid of the background colour, image if there is any.
