Hello, I'm still getting this code working, but I wanted to get some feedback on what people would like.

I have decided to add these features to this plugin:
I have a working example based on the flashchat file embedded_info.php. However, I believe it can be improved a fairbit, and rather scalable. Without info around your site, no-one uses your chat utility. choice of icons to represent users ( all users, no other way ).
choice of icons to represent chatrooms ( all chatrooms, no other way ).
collapsing dropdown menus for rooms with dropdown markers ( + / - ).
choice of dropdown markers ( ie: + - / images ).
optional register to use the chat textarea, dynamically generated.
option to link usernames to forum profiles. ( bots will noy be linked. )
choice of window popup size for the flashchat window.
textarea choice for the "enter the chatroom" text. choice of wether the "enter the chatroom" text is text or a button. choice to display a link to tufat or not.
Seems to me that this is a good feature list. Howver, if you have an idea post up.

The link (http://www.sddepot.com/community/index.php?showtopic=103) goes to a page that says:

To become able to download, view and discuss SDDepot Products, please register and purchase a one year paid subscription. Paid Subscriptions can be found in "My Account" [/b]
Looks like we can&#39;t find out about it unless we purchase a subscription.

yes is a simple include for a custom plugin, and there is a little integration for colors in the css to make it look like your site persay....however I had a few issues....not sure about time of install on using the user base system...perhaps someone hear can aid in that.

Ok, after converting those plugins to Xhtml 1.0 valid - and working with update files etc, I believe I have all of the neccessary skills to do this myself. As promised there will be a choice of icon and style.

This will be done after I&#39;ve completed the IPB driven skin.

off this whole topic, i have decided to make a Live chat Support Plugin.

basicly, it will act like a IM system. Guest and Forum Registered users can Access it and wait tell a Moderator gets to them.

Guests and registered users can&#39;t see who is online, but the moderators can.

I already have somthing like this i have been toying around with, well looks like i finally found a use for it. lol

Maybe add that functionality to a usergroup view specific plugin which connects to flashchat and pm&#39;s somehow. I&#39;m just making a very basic plugin, so - unsure.

the only part of flash chat was the integration, it was hard to figure out etc.

oh&#33; i guess i miss understood a few parts. I thought it was more of a registered user chat server/program like 123flashchat.

the one i have been toying with for a while is actually a little php/MySQL IM program.

Yup, flashchat is only 5 dollars, supports multiple and custom skins, banners, modules such as radio and av chat - the best all things considered that I&#39;ve seen.
Though at somepoint I&#39;d like to see it support a few different frontends (php,flash,ajax) - this would decrease the amount of users with flash problems, and broaden the horizons for the product.

it would be nice for a chat feature that would enable one on one communication also so others cannot join in but lets registered users request to chat with admin etc kinda like a support system/live chat feature.

Pyromanci

it is a support chat system. only the admin can make new accounts and it is 1 on 1.

i hope someone will come up with a solution that is mentioned here. i too would like a flashchat integration within SD or better yet, once you get inside SD you could login with the same credentials into flashchat too..

If you integrate Subdreamer with a forum like phpbb2, you can integrate flashchat with phpbb2 and then your users dont need to log on to flashchat when they come from your site or your forum.

The plugin we are wanting is for showing who is online chatting in SD....

I used the code for Xoops to do this, but it was unstable, sometimes it worked, and sometimes it didnt.

i made just a crappy little workaround with IWrapper through Who&#39;s online feature of Flaschat: http://XXXXXXXXXX/flashchat/info.php... i hope someone comes up with a better solution...

I did the same thing...tossed it in to an iFrame...not the prettiest, but at least it is an advertised feature from both my SD and IPB

You make custom plugin and add the path to this php in the line "Start this php before.." or something like this .. The skin is custom.

I added a Look whos chatting for my front page to the module users_online.php at the very bottom under the ?> Real simple.

<table border="0" height="100%" width="150" id="table1" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td align="center" valign="top"><p align="center"><i><font size="1">Chat Rooms</font></i><iframe height="100%" frameborder="0"
src="forums/chat/info_embedded.php" style="width: 150; margin: 0; padding: 0; border: 0; overflow: hidden;" scrolling="no" border="0" allowtransparency="true" name="I1" align="left"></iframe></td>

</p>
<p>&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
</table>

I am having a problem though figuring out why my FlashChat requires you to log into the room when you are already logged into the forum/site. Flashchat was already integrated with the forums when I added the subdreamer package and integrated that with my forums. Now its all the sudden making everyone log into the room as well like it forgot you were logged in. Im guessing it has something to do with the sessions in subdreamer.
