I am currently using a knowlege base product that provides ATOM feeds. Would it be possible for the current RSSFeed plugin by Fasherman to be enhanced to include ATOM feeds?

Go for it. I'm not all that protective of "my code". If someone, anyone has an idea to make it better, feel free.
