I like the scrolling rss.

I had no problems installing.

For the popup window a translation of the 'Close window' would be nice :rolleyes:

I get a few bugers when I run an RSS from my vB forum.

It shows Forums ID's and the time is shown 2 times

Have you insert generated code through WYSIWYG Editor? If yes, insert your code without WYSIWYG Editor and after rienable it.

If I specify a feed with a forum Id's

http://www.yoursite.com/forum/external.php?forumids=9

The scrolling window shows the forum name.
If you put
http://www.yoursite.com/forum/external.php?forumids=9,22

It shows 9,22 Maby this is a bug in the output?.
that is possible allso the case with the double date.

Allso I noticed if you put the link
www.yoursite.com/forum/external.php?forumids=9
you get a stream not found error http:// must be in.

There is not a bug, if u look at vbulletin output you will see
<title>Your Forum Name - 4,5</title>

2) you get a stream not found error http:// must be in.
You must digit http:// before your forum url:
es: http://www.yoursite.com/forum/external.php?forumids=9,22

3) Double date.
There is not a bug. VBulletin includes date and time inside the tags <description></description>
(See vbulleting output)
If u want removing double date disable it from RSS Parser Generator (Show item posting date?), choose No.

If you want to display a feed without scroll you have to use &#39;RSS Parser Generator&#39;.
Es:
1) insert url in &#39;Add New RSS Feed&#39; (http://events.yahoo.com/holiday05/feed.php?blog=hol05main&feedtype=rss2)
2) Choose you preferred settings
3) Press &#39;Preview Feed&#39; button

A popup will be open, press the first button &#39;Select All &#39;:

This is the code that you will paste in a custom plugin.

4)Now go to Settings->Main settings and turn off WYSIWYG Editor.
5)Go to Settings->Plugin and create a custom plugin.
6)Paste the gererated code into custom plugin and add it.
7) turn on WYSIWYG Editor
8) Add your custom plugin where you want

go to rss gold plugin settings and set Encoding (UTF-8 Character Encoding?) to yes... it works ;).

i&#39;ll release a new version to fix a little bug...

I'm having problems with this plugin. On a certain point it just stopped working, and it dropped the options for configuring and/or removing the plugin. Even if I remove the entire plugin from the plugin-dir it remains in ACP without any possibilities to remove it. I also have a cloned instance with the same problems attached. Any suggestions how to make this work again:(

Everything was working fine after installation of DaGoN utility, but after I've upgraded to SD 2.4. I can't acces og delete either the utility or the RSS Gold plugin!?

Didn't work to well, but I used HeavyEddies "Plugin Cleanup", and apparently that did the job - but thank's for the effort anyway :)

I have a problem with this plugin in one case, when the feed URL doesnt end in XML extention. So is it possible to make such links to work with this nice plugin?

Example:
