Tweak

Well, so far everything with Subdreamer has made my site development increasingly easy, yet I run into a few issues with the features of the site. I COULD run the site with all the basic plugins and stuff, but I need to take it a step further with the download manager.
Right now, the download manager runs just as a fairly simple uploads to downloads system that is almost anonymous for the uploader other than the author/uploader's name which is shown.
-I would like for the download manager to be modified in a way so that whatever file you upload is part of your profile or "Personal Files" page. So in other words, if I were to browse to any file and see the author's name shown, I would be able to click on it and it would take me to their profile -- which would show all the files they have uploaded. Now... this wouldn't just be a huge dump-list of all the files they have uploaded, it would also be sorted in the category they uploaded it to. And with friendly urls enabled, hopefully it could be made so that it would maybe look something like www,example.com/username/
So if I uploaded (in order) File.zip to the FILES section, and PICS_1.zip and PICS_2.zip to the PICS section, the list of files would be sorted from newest to oldest in their Files profile page. Also at the very top, there could be a 'Quick Jump' menu that would goto the section -- making it easier to browse, since some people's pages could get very big with numerous files listed. So upon clicking on a category/section it would just jump down to that section (NOTE: It would ONLY show the sections they've uploaded in. And if possible, show the file count for that section. An example of how this would look is like so:
Tweak's uploaded files (or some sort of title I can edit)
FILES (http://) (1)
PICS (http://) (2)
FILES
-File.zip (but shown the way downloads normally appear with thumbnail, description, etc.)
PICS
-PICS_2.zip (but shown the way downloads normally appear with thumbnail, description, etc.)
-PICS_1.zip (but shown the way downloads normally appear with thumbnail, description, etc.)
-----
Something like that. Maybe even with the usual search field and sort thing at the top.
So overall, I need the system to be done by a user system, but more in-depth I guess you could say. I hope you can help me with this, as it is an important aspect of my site. My site involves uploading of certain files which people usually wish to 'link' to in their profiles or what not. It is car related, so we usually have it say "My Garage". :D
-----
One more modification, but not entirely important... but still would save me loads of time.
I need the Download Manager to make me thumbnails!!! More importantly, thumbnails that are automatically resized to a desired Height x Width. I have GD installed, and it would definitely like it to use that. I just hate the fact that the download manager requires the user to upload a resized thumbnail, when it could save them loads of time to just upload a preview image like any other site does.
IF this cannot be done, then I would probably want to remove the thumbnail upload option and would have to make thumbnails myself :(. Not exactly what I want to do, but you can see why the auto-thumbnail hack would be useful.

That's it! Thanks to anyone offering to help, I will try and give any help in return with graphics or something. And if this has been requested or done already, sorry B)
