Download manager... allow users to add via URL

I don't want to host my members content. I want to have it be able to link to a file on their own website. Like in the admin CP.

EX: an audio mix is rather large, but if linked that would be nice.

How could I do this?

atm that is not available for users to just submit a link...

but, why dont you use the form builder and create a form, and then you can get the url etc. It means more work for the administrator to go in and add each one individually, but on the other hand, its going to be easier to do instead of trying to mod the download manager.

Even so, you can add lots details and get the most from each submission from the user.
