subcategory menu

the problem is that i don't understand how this plugin works.

i made a category TEST. than some subcategories TEST1 and TEST2. placed subcategory menu plugin in TEST category, but i cant see the list of subcategories there. whrere is the problem? what i do wrong?

Unfortunately i missed that i have to check the box of "Menu item". Thank you for help :)
