I can't believe it myself. I started piddling around a bit... really for the sake of learning and I ended up with a new skin. :)
Not bad for my first. Still have some cleaning up to do, but still functional on the site.

Thanks for the great comments folks.
Not sure about the UM, I was going to keep it very simple just to follow design. But, it would be very easy to do.

I was a little worried about building a skin geared for 1024x768, but I have been watching the user stats. Notice anything odd?

Nobody less than 1024x768.

BTW... thanks for the help Robert. Your advise, as it often is, was instrumental.

I need to get that google analytics running! Anyway, the skin looks awesome for you're style site or a blog site. How hard was making your first skin? I'm using someday, the same one you use to use but have modded it out so much I probably just should have make my own from scratch.

I used the someday css since that is where I am most unaware. Learning though. I found putting the skin together easier than the design elements of it. I'm just not very artsy fartsy. Good thing my daughter is. I kept asking her for advise :)

You will probably appear tomorrow. It isn't real time, so you will probably appear tomorrow. If you are the only one, I think you will be listed under an "other" category.
