OK...being someone that has a hard time spelling 3 letter words, I was just curious if anyone had ever tried to integrate a spell-checker into the News module...or am I forever destined to write news in Word and cut and paste?

iespell is indeed fantastic, but...... That would require that any/everyone that has access to submitting news/articles on his site would have to have it.
phpspell seems to be easy enough to 'hack' into another program (as every bloody forum in the world has a port of it)... If someone had the php skill, I suppose a phpspell addon wouldn't be too difficult as it just pulls the info from the text box where you'd type the news, parses it through its own javascript, checks the words against a dictionary in the database, and badda bing.
/me really must learn php...
